Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses GigBlend: buyers, sellers and visitors.

1. Prohibited services and content

You may not offer, request, upload or deliver:

• Academic cheating: completing, in whole or part, an essay, assignment, coursework, dissertation, exam or other work that a student will submit for assessment, or advertising such a service. Providing or advertising this for payment to students in England is a criminal offence under the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, credential theft, malware or unauthorised access to systems
• Fake or incentivised reviews, fake social engagement, or referral fraud
• Impersonation, forged or fake documents, fake references or invented qualifications
• Harassment, threats, hate, doxxing, stalking or unlawful surveillance
• Any content that sexualises or exploits children, and any sexual content
• Terrorist content, or content that encourages or assists serious harm, suicide or self-harm
• Illegal goods or services, or content that helps someone commit a crime
• Content that infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights
• Services that promise legal, medical, financial or investment outcomes, or give regulated advice without the required authorisation
• Content designed to mislead voters or unlawful political activity
• Getting around Platform fees or payments

2. Sensitive categories

These are allowed only with clear limits stated in the listing:

• Legal document drafting (not legal advice)
• Financial forecasts and business plans (not regulated financial advice)
• Health information formatting (not medical advice)
• Defensive security work on systems you are authorised to test
• Employment documents such as CVs, which must not invent experience or qualifications

3. Messaging

Do not share personal contact details or payment details to take an order off the Platform. We automatically flag messages that appear to contain contact or payment details.

4. How we enforce this

We automatically screen order briefs and seller listings for signs of academic cheating and refuse those that match, and staff review listings before they go live. When we find a breach we may warn, remove content, refuse or cancel and refund orders, withhold payouts where lawful, suspend or close accounts, and report to the police or other authorities. We tell the person affected what we did and why, unless the law or safety prevents it.

5. Reporting and appeals

Report content or conduct that breaks this policy at https://gig-blend.com/report, with or without an account. To challenge a decision we made about your content or account, use the same form or email support@gig-blend.com.
